Time Table

Civilization Time Table (View or Print: .doc .pdf )
This table lists the civilizations and time periods covered in this volume.

As the student works through the unit plan, he or she will construct a timeline that chronologically lists the events being studied by geographic area. The timeline provides a big picture overview and references that relate to the subject matter, cultivating a broad understanding of the time period being studied.

Coursebook

The student-created literature assignments, pictures, timelines, history, & rehtoric assignments will contain the questionnaires that the student has complete. Also included in the coursebook will be maps that illustrate the nation's growth and expansion or reduction as a result of conquest or war, world events, drawings, articles, and pictures the student gathers during the course of study, literature and history assignments and rhetoric assignments.

The Answer Key Book

provides all Worksheets, Science assignments, Questionnaires, Literature, Unit Quizzes, Vocabulary Quizzes, and Semester Tests.

Student answers may vary for some questions. Students must be able to justify answers from their research and coursebook.  You should be willing to accept an answer if it is accurate to the civilization or time period.

If the student is having difficulty finding information, the key may be used as a resource.  The Answer Key gives the parent/teacher the peace of mind that the student is on the right track.
